M670 Fair Price

Hi All,

I've had an M670 gas in the back of my shed for literally my entire life. One could say it is my entire inheritance.

Hour meter shows 2500hrs
Tires are 4/10
Engine is likely seized
Tin work looks pretty good

How much is this tractor worth?

Being a Super, that is a 1966 or newer. All the '64s and '65s were before the Supers came about. You are probably to far from west Texas for me to be interested.

I have no idea on the real value but in my area I'd start the bidding at $2000,would love to have it.

There is a running gas M670 Super for sale here in Alberta for 2500, very straight with a cab. So I would say, if seized, yours might be worth 1000-1500. Engine loose, maybe 2000.

A good runner with those low hours would be $4000 in the midwest. It's got $400 in front weights hanging on it.

It seems that I'd put $2500 to rebuild a tractor that's worth $1500 to then have a $4000 tractor?

I'm sort of looking to put it on craigs but I need a place to start...

Id say $1200-1500 with the weights. Gas versions are getting to be a tough sell.

That sure looks like a very cool, straight old original!! (Except maybe the optional toolbox and saddle tanks ha ha)

Why do you think it is locked up?? If it has been sitting inside the whole time, I'd bet it is still loose or wouldn't take much to get it loose. Might take the plugs out and squirt a bit of your choice of lube in each cylinder.
