New to me 445. Put it on our dyno today and the pto slips at 26 horse. The lever does not snap over like my 302.
Questions. Can I tighten up the pto clutch? And do I need to r move the top cover or is there a access plate somewhere?

Thanks

On my 4star which is basically the same I drained the hydralic system removed the 4 bolts holding the seat assembly/ hydro reservoir and used a cherry picker. After its lifted off should see the clutch pack rotate till the adjusting pin is visible on top. Using a screwdriver pop pin towards trans and turn left if memory serves me right if you are standing behind the tractor looking forward usually a couple pin slots should be sufficient. I have used warped plates and junk ones be4 and they work but pto coasts almost like it's still under power. Always shut any Moline off when hooking up pto as the pto brakes never worked even when new. Hope this helps.
