generator help

I had generator rebuilt on a 54 BG. New everything in gen ,put a new cut out relay on it ,still will not charge. Has good wireing ,everything else seems good. Any help wikk be appreciated .Thanks in advance.

1. Polarize generator. With engine not running, momentarily jumper the 2 terminals on the cut out.

2. If it still will not charge, ground the F post on the generator. If that makes it charge check wiring back through the charge control switch

3. If no charge with field grounded, jumper across the cutout. If still no charge you likely have a generator problem or wiring/ground problem. If it charges you have a cutout not working.
