M670 gas starter

Have a problem getting the starter to spin. works fine in the shop but not on the tractor. Any body have a similar problem

A common often over looked cause of starter problems is bad battery cables. Check for corrosion at both end connectors and make sure you have a good connection of ground cable to tractor frame. Cables can have unseen internal corrosion. If in doubt replace cables.

Also make sure batteries are good and well charged.

Also check for clean mating surface where starter bolts to the mount

The tractor it came off was a propane converted to gas. It took more to spin the lp as it has higher compression.I may have to
build you another.
