In reading other post, so the RE226 C, is just a regular compression head for a R ?

Most common, low compression.

regular compression if the R has the domed pistons which were factory stock

IF the EE engine has flat top pistons, a RE226C head will let run, but you won't be able to go up a very big rise, it'll have no power

Yeah, i found them in some of my sons pile, there was a lot meat there below the head,they had to go somewhere then here ! thanks!
