What year did the U or Z come out with a starter?
I have a picture of my Grandad standing next to a U or Z and he is holding me. Tractor has electric starter. Picture is dated
on the back "Finished by Owl Photo Co., Weatherford, Oklahoma".
May 6th. 1944
My Dad had been drafted and me, Mom, brother & sister stayed with her Mom & Dad.
I had a 1937 Z that was hand crank.

1938 was first year of U. Starter standard equipment on UDLX. Starters were options on until 1940's same as Z.

I was going to say, my 41 ZTN has a starter and lights.
