I have a G900 propane. The engine was stuck when I got it but is ready to start now. I replaced plugs, points, cap and rotor.. compression is good. The tractor sat non running for several years. So far it won't start. There is spark at the plugs. Anyone know what goes on in the regulator when sitting for a long period? I've never had one apart so don't know if there is an issue inside or not. It is a century regulator. Bob

Maybe the diaphragms are stiff, or bugs can crawl in the vent for the diaphragms. Push on the primer button if it has one and you should hear vapor going through.

I would second Matthies comment about the vent being open. It sounds crazy and it has only happened to me one time in about 45 years of running MM LP tractors but I had a tractor that had been setting for about a month and a bug had filled the vent tube with mud! If you can hear the hiss when you press the primer button it is open. I had to unscrew the tube from the vaporizer to get it cleaned out.

Thank you for the information. Took the cover off and found a mess. My first lp tractor so am learning.
