how was the strathcona pulls? thought u were going. I was at sangudo.

Hey George, the Strathcona pull was a massive success. We set a new attendance record, with 117 tractors registered to pull. Weather was good, we had a couple issues with the track, but once we started ripping the track, it smartened up for the most part. I ended up 5th in Class 6 with my 990, would've been 3rd if I could have kept moving 3 more inches. Lol.

How was Sangudo? If I get time next year, I may go to their early summer pull. Also, are you going to Leduc for the finals? A couple buddies were twisting my arm into going, and they said winning in Westlock counted, so I think I might go this year.

sangudo was great. we had some good hard pulls. me and the brother tied with our 660's on first pull he ended up beating me by 5 ft in second pull. he got first and I was second. he was at 405 ft I was 400 ft. there was 4 660's in class 6. and 2 in class 5. most 660's I saw at a pull. was 40 tractors. I don't think I will go to Leduc, poor track and too much buddy buddy and those 1900 olivers belong in a class 7.

I think I'll try Leduc once just to see, but going in with low expectations.

It's kind of funny, it was almost entirely 830 Deere's in Ardrossen, and 660's in Sangudo. I think either one would've been stiff competition for me, lol. Glad to hear you had fun there.
