Wide Fronts on MM Tractors

I am asking for opinions on where most people like to adjust their wide fronts on tractors not used for roll-crop work. I have a U-302 and a M-602 with wide fronts. The U-302 is as wide as possible and with previous hard use may not even adjust in anymore but it would be easier to store if it was adjusted in narrow as possible? The M-602 was pretty bent up and abused but with a lot of heat & grinding & welding was able to get it shaped up and adjustable again. However it been stored outside for a few years while the narrow front was on and may be rusted solid again in the Narrow-est position. Now I want to keep these Show Queens wide fronts & back tread wheel base adjusted for best looks and functional for yard work?cleddy

That what I am thinking for ease of crowding them in a building. My Dad carried a big Fiber glass tank on the front of the U-302 with wheels wide. (80" for 40"
rolls). He put diagonal tie bolts to stiffen it up and even one of them broke. Lots of hard use as Farmers tried to keep up with the growth of agriculture.
