I rebuilt a MM 2 bottom plow but may have gotten the trip mechanism back together wrong. Any diagrams out there for assistance ?

when I pull the rope the lever doesn't touch anything. Is it supposed to lower the plow into the dirt? Right now the plow is in the up position.
Thx

The lever does its job when you are not pulling on the rope. The bottom roller catches in one of the notches in the clutch plate holding it. When you pull
the rope, the roller is pulled away from the clutch plate, and the internal dog catches rotating the clutch plate a half turn as the wheel rotates. The lever
roller then catches in the next notch releasing the internal dog once the wheel has turned a half turn.

When the plow is in the up position as you show. Something may or may not happen when you pull the rope.If the lifting arm is in the top dead center position the plow may not drop till the wheel starts to turn. Most all of the time the plow will drop immediately when you pull the rope. If not, most likely the dog spring is broken inside the clutch. I have a supply of them.

Guess i should have gone back and looked at the picture again. I see the plow is not in the up position. Also I see the locking dog lever is not in the engaged position. So that indicates that the spring is broken.
