Hi all, aquired a ztu that had stuck valves and when i removed the cover, one valve spring was missing both of the keepers. Where can i find a couple of these or is there an automotive type that fits too.

Small Block chevy valve keepers worked for me. I just wish I knew which (year?) small block had the 1.500 diameter exhaust valves. they would be perfect for a Z. 1.60 diameter exhaust valves seem to be more common, and I have made them work in a Jetstar.

I should have some keepers floating around in a bucket somewhere if you are unable to find any locally. Postage costs more than the parts are worth.

"Sealed Power" and other engine parts sellers have "progressive size chart" listing catalogs in which you can find valves and other parts that will fit an obscure application got which they were not originally intended by measurements.

A "REAL" autoparts store that's been around awhile should have some dusty copies on a back shelf somewhere, or an automotive machine shop.

I even have a couple of them.
