UB seat shock absorber

My UB needs a new shock absorber which is located within the seat spring.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as far a a part. number. Thanks

I was able to locate one for a golf cart that worked really well.
Now, this was 10 years ago, so I do not know if this information is current. The man I called then was Don, phone 800-262-6861.
Part number 5022 (not a MM no.) He was quite helpful and familiar with this being a replacement for these seats. Please let us know if this still works.

Thanks,, I did a google search for that part number and it?s listed for an electric golf cart. I?ll get one ordered from eBay and let you know.

Good news, the 5022 shock arrived Friday and yesterday I removed the spring and shock from the seat.
The nuts on the old shock came off ok and reassembly went smooth. I did need to make one modification and that was to add a piece on 1/2 inch black pipe as a spacer on the top of the shock. Looks good and I?m happy with the result.
