I took a shot at painting the new Exhaust Manifold as well as the old Intake Manifold for the '53 UB. Removed surface rust, primed with high temp and then found the Prairie Gold color locally from Sherwin-Williams automotive store. I am not sure this paint will hold up to the heat, but it is a "AIC" acrylic urethane. Added hardener and thinner according to directions and sprayed away. The color was spot-on...just may not stay on!
