Nice job of plowing there. That's what a well plowed field should look like: shattered soil, all the grass turned under, and no lumps! Hope you had a cold drink waiting for you afterwards, you deserved it!

Thanks Mac. I'm sure I had one by the end of the day. Sadly, I didn't finish the job with the U, I had to set him aside for lack of fuel. I finished the job with my M5 LP and same plow. In truth, I was ready for the seat of the M5 after standing on that U for a number of hours.

The IH 70 is a good plow. We also had one when I was growing up. Pulled it with our UB.
We picked our corn on the ear and never chopped the stalks. That plow would turn them under and do a cleaner job of plowing than all the neighbors who chopped their stalks!

Totally agree Toys. I think my 540 is pretty much the same plow only in a semi-mount version and honestly, I have yet to see another plow type deal with trash like those plows,
