Any of you put a 3 point hitch on an R?

Wondering as it is one of my unfinished projects. I have seen them on a Z and seen some pictures of a type of it in a book. If any one could add anything or post pictures wood help. I have to do some work on my R this year.

I never saw one on an R. They work on a ZB, (Actually there was either a factory or aftermarket kit.) and I just saw a homemade 3 pt. on a ZAU last weekend.

Just remember, you will have to crawl across the hitch to get on and off the tractor, at least on most Rs that I have seen.

Late R's were available with what they called a "Hitchor", a sort of three point hitch just for the R. It used a different hitch assembly and a different lifting roll than was used with the front mounted cultivators.

I have a 3 point hitch bought new in the 70s at Tractor Supply and was never installed. Was told it fits a Z or a U. Maybe could be made to fit a R?
