ZA timing mark

I forget where to put timming mark on fly wheel to use a timing light I know it before TDC. but how far.

1 7/8 BTDC on magneto. 2 1/4 on distributor.

Thanks for the information. I assume It will work on a ZA engine in a R tractor with R fly wheel and A Petronic Electronic Ignition.

Go with the 2-1/4 if the electronic ignition uses the distruibuitor's mechanical advance.

The magneto has only one advance, when it flips from the start position to full advance. I'm thinking I read that was at about 200 rpm.

I'm not sure if the R amd Z flywheels are the same diameter, if not those measurements won't work.
