Moline z no start

Hello, I have a moline z that won?t start. It ran when parked last year and now I don?t even get a pop. The magneto is new rebuilt by Rudy and I bought a spare in case last year and tried it as well with no luck. They both have great spark. The carb was rebuilt last year and I took it off to check ports and no issues. The plugs were new last year as well and are clean and sparking properly. I don?t have a starter on it so it?s hand crank only for now. Which gets exhausting. Any ideas on what is going on? I am stumped.

Also I maybe in market to add starting system just don?t have the battery box. I have starter and generator.
 
Yep all plugs sparking good, fuel into carb and when choked it?s drips. Haven?t tugged it around yet but will in a couple of weeks.
 
Recheck timing. After #1 intake valve closes rotate motor 1/2 turn on compression stroke. Mag should click and fire.
 
agree on the pull. sometime they just get ornary. plus if you had mag off and on then a pull may tell the story.
 
I have 1935 JD-b that will not start by hand the first time each year but pull it 10 feet and it runs
 
After sitting I find it takes quite a bit to get the fuel air mixture from those updraft carbs to the cylinders(or mine are old and tired), as others said a little pull should do it.
 
Might be a dumb question but did you turn the gas on? My Z wouldn?t start after a long period. It took right off when I turned the gas on. Worked for me.
 
Make sure your plugs are not Champion. Had a U that did same with rebuilt motor.Worked on it for hours. Put in Autolite and fired right up.
