1963 MM 602 Diesel: What is the BEST oil/lube to run in the trans/Ampli-torque/rear-end? Manual says 80w-90 (GL1). What about 85w-140? Others?

UPDATE: I see other posts that Agco 821XL (Permatran) is used for MM tractors. My manual does state 80w-90 gear lube (GL5). Should I stay with GL5?

I would, that is what I used in my M670. Been 5 yrs and no problems.
