Big tractor power just posted a new video featuring an AT4-1600 in the yellow color. Apparently there was an AT4-1900 as well as a prototype. Never heard of that one before. Good video and an impressive restore job done on the tractor. Was there a factory altitude compensator aka turbo available for those tractors?

The A4T 1400 had one on from the factory

I have the supplement to the A4T-1600 Repair Parts Catalog that lists the Altitude Compensator for the 585 engine so they were available but I'm not sure if they were installed at the factory. Since it is in a supplement I would assume that they weren't available on the first ones at least.

A4T-1900 was in development when White cancelled the project. 2 hydraulic power shift transmissions and transfer cases survived. One set of these were recently installed in an A4T-1600 with 800LP engine just like the planned 1900. This tractor was at Rantoul, IL last year. The A4T-1400 could be ordered from the factory with a turbo. Only 50 were produced. The A4T-1600 was never equipped with a factory turbo but several exist today due to the dealer installed altitude compensator package previously mentioned.

Was available on G1350 not A4T1600.
