How to check L500 loader reservoir level

The manual says there should be a dip stick for the loader reservoir, but I'm not finding it. All I see is a pipe cap for the fill tube and the breather cap, which appears to be fixed. Am I missing something?

I checked the loader manual and it says the same, with no indication as to where the dipstick is. Not having a loader I can't go look.

did you take the fill cap off dip stick should be on fill cap my ld.backhoe has it there

My Jetstar 3 industrial has the L500 loader I believe. Fill cap is on the right side loader frame, at about a 45 degree angle. Dipstick is attached to the fill cap. The full mark is down about 3" from the cap.

Thanks to all for the good info. My loader doesn't have a dipstick attached to the fill cap. It looks like the original owner extended the fill port with galvanized pipe and just put a regular cap on it. I think I know enough now to fabricate a replacement.
