Unfortunately I'm not aware of a breakdown of the 1951 RTIM serial numbers. They're lumped in with RTI.

I cannot say with certainty but they are pretty old.

The story of the tractor is interesting. It was a one family tractor for about 70 years. The person I bought it from had it for about 8 years but did not try to get it running.

The interest thing he told me was that this tractor was sold new by a dealer in Aztec, NM before the U.S. entered WWII. The dealer went out of business during the war due the lack of farm equipment availability. The tractor was the first one sold by that dealership. I have not been able to determine a name associated with the dealership but would very much like to figure that out at some point.

MM made a batch of RTI for the military in 1951. They're not officially RTIM but they have all the same lifting eyes and tags along with holes in the LH fender for the rifle mount. An original picture was featured in the MM Corresponder magazine several years ago.

This site was originally started to address the R. He later expanded it, but looks like it hasn't been updated in some time.
