G706 Fuel filter

Is there a replacement or retro fit for the sediment
bowl with filter on the Diesel engine always a pain to
change or a user friendly solution for that
bolt/screw?...thanks in advance.

mine has an old change over to a John Deere rectangular style glass filter. Have seen several G705/706 with the same set up. Sorry I do not have a picture handy.

Plowhand,

Did you get your filter problem figured out? I have MM602D with probably the same setup as you and mine too is a pain. 602 has two filters, first with metal can and second with glass bowl, same as yours? Never does not leak. I am going to change over to something more modern and if you have not solved will let you know what I do.
