I recently aquired a propane model U, it has been setting for a few years, in a shed. It still as the original vaporizer and carb on it. I am going to see if I can start it with the origina stuff, but I am thinking I will have to change out the carb. and vaporizer. Can anyone tell me what brand and model vaporizer and carb. I can put on it? Thanks

I successfully revived a U after it set in a shed for 20 years. Also a GVI after setting for 27 years. Both were LP with Ensign systems. Chances are good that your U will be ok. Otherwise an Impco system can be adapted to a U.
