Big Mo 500 Loader Backhoe Clutch Problem

I just inherited a Big Mo 500 loader backhoe and need to figure out what is going on with the clutch. I have adjusted the clutch pedal linkage it all the way in and can't put it in gear. I am hoping that it is just stuck instead of shot, because the local equipment guy want $$$$ to split it and replace the clutch. Is there a way I can tell if it is stuck and is there any way to pry the clutch apart if it is stuck? Thanks for any help...need to get it off the property before the estate sale in 3 weeks one way or the other.

put the tractor in gear with the clutch depressed and bump the starter. if the tractor creeps the disk is probably stuck to the flywheel.

start it out of gear, get all the hydraulics up, shut it off, start it in gear, lower the bucket and dig with the pedal depressed. If it's stuck, it should come loose although I just did a clutch on a Ford 8N which was rusted to the flywheel and none of the above worked. split it and installed new clutch, never worked this good ever.

You may need to split the tractor, if you do we recommend using a button disc as replacement, no more stuck! Dale River Dale Farms. 920 295 3278.

I wasn't able to get it started yet, but did get it to lurch when I bumped the starter. Now have spark but won't even bark with
starting fluid. There is a heavy old gas smell from the carb, so know the next steps. Thanks for the help so far....I'll let you
know how it goes.

Success! I rebuilt the carb yesterday and got it to run. I raised the bucket, backhoe and outriggers and called it a day. Today I pulled it into the field where I could make a straight run towards the driveway. The clutch thunked but it went into gear. It needs some TLC, but I think I'll have it back in service soon. Thanks to all the helpful info.
