MM name plate restoring

As I have worked on restoring MM?s over the past few years I have struggled to find a way to restore the aluminum front and side badges to maintain the factory look of the aluminum between the white background and black letters. On the 69 M670 super I am currently working on I worked with a sign shop to find a solution. They were able to make matching letters, and by using a razor knife I was able to make these look very close to new. I also needed a Milsco decal, and was able to have new ones made. I?m not sure if anyone else has found a better way, or if there is much interest in having this done, but I am very happy with how they turned out. If anyone is interested in the Milsco decals my email is open. When the 670 is done I plan on posting pics of the entire process.
