MM 445 engine question

I recently bought a 1956 MM 445 utility at an auction. The plan is to fix it up and use around the farm. The engine was locked and when I tore it down, found that 2 cylinders had froze and busted. It has a 206L-4 engine, would engine from other models fit?

Also there is a 220 cu. In. engine that was used starting in some military models such as Big Mo 400-M. It was last used in the M302. Just a different bore than the 206.

Where are you located? I've got 2 Unis with the 206 motor and a motor out of a Big Mo 400 that burned alot of oil in extreme northeastern IL

The Big MO 400M uses a different crankshaft and rods than all the other 206 and 220 overhead valve MMs. Be aware of this when looking for
salvage parts.

The engine from a 335 will also fit in the 445 but it is only 165 CuIn as compared to 206 that is in the 445. The pistons, rings and blocks are the same as the 445 but the rods and crankshaft are different.
