Loader will be removed. Same loader on a M5. It's been patched but is actually straight and
has good manure bucket. All wiring/gauges in good condition. Couple valves stuck. Only
thing missing is light brackets. There weren't alot of Jet 2's made. Qnly one year 1963
with 1100 gas and Lp, so maybe 5-700 gas. I wanted it to match my diesel. Loader?

G.B. that jetstar 2 would sure look good hooked to the new ih-100 sickle mower I got home from sask. last night!! check out my post in implement alley, hhhmmm what kinda deal can we do here? john

Basic first was the 445 which replaced ZB. Very similar to Jetstar except grill.Used the 206 overhead and had ampli-torque. The Jetstar came out in 1959 and it was painted all brown and commonly called the Brown Jet. This was Motec era. The Jet was stripped down to increase sales. Little to no options were available. No 3 pt,power steering,no belt pulley. Price was down in the 2200$ range. They DID not sell well. In 1963 the same tractor came out with yellow fenders and hood panels and it was re-labelled Jetstar 2. By 1963 MM was sold to White. The new redesigned tractor was the Jetstar 3,just different grill and hood. Jetstar 3 went to end of production in 1971. Several mods were done along the way. Torque, hydraulics, crankshaft seals were upgraded along the way. Diesel models were available also but in very limited numbers.

Spent many hours mowing hay with a Jetstar & IH 100 mower as a kid. Also pulled a Farmhand 7 wheel left to right delivery rake behind the
mower. Made some huge windrows. But back then we stacked loose so the bigger the windrow, the happier dad was.
