I went to a MM collection auction a few weeks ago. The guy had an amazing MM toy collection with 150 plus toys. He also had some nice real ones. Of interest was the 14th built G-1000 and what looked to be factory blue MM U-302 or Jetstar 3's that were for NY Dot. I bid the G-1050 toy up to 160 but just couldn't do it. All I came home with was 4 1/64 MM.

Planned to attend but HAD to work. Was looking for an engine for an R and he had them, still looking. Thanks for the pictures.

By the way, I wonder if Ertl or Spec-cast will ever make a precision G 1000 Vista? I think they'd sell a bunch of them.

I didn't stick around for the big ones to sell. I wanted to but i had to drive 4 hrs to Albany NY for a wedding so i had to leave. I too would like to know what they sold for. I also wanted to talk to the owner about the blue ones but I didn't get a chance.

As for toys yes I too would like to see a new G-1000 toy. So many possibilities with that casting and im sure they would sell. I would also like to see the 50 series done. Allot of possibilities and color schemes could be done with that casting as well.

Well the Davin sign come home with me so i know what it brought for sure. I believe the tractors sold as follows but not for sure because I was talking to some people
302 gas just rebuilt 1850
UB gas 3000
Jet star 3 restored 3800
G-1000 low band 6500
jet star 3 1800
4 star 2500
jet star 3 with loader ( torque out on low side) 1400. Parts tractors all sold pretty cheap.

Don had a great collection. I wanted to bid on some of his toys but couldn't risk the shipping damage as I was at the Dayton OH auction (a lot closer to home). If the G1050 sold for less than $350 it was a good buy. It was a Berg made in the 1990's. Any idea what some of the other custom toys sold for? Mohr M602/604, Cottonwood G1000's? Does anyone know if the auctioneer posted results online? The G1000 low band was the highlight of the auction and brought a fair price in my opinion.
Thanks for sharing the pictures.

The G1000 low band was bought by a friend of mine here in Indiana. I was also at the OH auction thought thinks went fair although I had to pay pretty well for the ZBN L/P.
Nice pics thanks for posting them.

You got the ZBN LP? I thought that was a very neat tractor seldom seen. I figured there would be a few people interested in it. We bought the UTI w/ cab. I thought the price was reasonable on it and most of what sold there. Got it running and am in the process of fixing the rear tire. Sounds like there were some deals in NY. That's what happens when you have two good MM auctions the same day. We bought a nice original low band last year here in Michigan. Quite a few different parts on the low bands versus the production G1000.

I bought a U diesel special in oh to. Put it in gear and drift it off the truck, started before it hit the bottom of the ramps

I haven't got it running yet I've been workin alot of hours so I can buy something at Richards auction. Hopefully I can get it in the shop this winter and start on the restoration I'll post some pics during restoration. That was a nice U diesel nice to here that she runs. It will be intresting to see the G1000 low bands in IL this Sept.

I was the back up bidder on that one. It was a nice piece. Glad to hear you got it running. Always risky with a diesel when its been sitting.

Yeah that Berg G-1050 was a deal at the 180 it went for. I just couldn't do it and the wife was staring at me like I was crazy. All of the others brought good money. The wheatland in the picture brought 350. I was happy for Don. He made out very well.
