Bought this from a neighbor to use on the M670 Super. Never heard of SunMaster "Flail King" before. It was originally copper colored similar to the Metalic Bronze on the M5s.

Alan, I remember seeing one at an estate sale a few years back and didn't know anything about it either. But I did a little searching for ya and came up with a few things. Looks like Sun-Master Flail King was a registered trademark of Rotech Inc of Olathe, KS in early to mid 1957, but they went out of business in the late 90s. I had a number for them and called it and the receptionist I spoke with confirmed that.

I would venture to say you have an earlier model versus later. The below link would appear to me to be a later machine. From what I can see on the decal, it looks like they spelled their name "Sun-Mastr" without an "e."

I have had a little experience, very little, with an IH and Gehl "marketed" machines. If memory serves me correctly from my dealer days, a company name Loftness (loftness.com) is a current producer of these "crop shredder" machines. Although we were not a dealer for them, when we called them about a few issues we were trying to work out on a customer's, they knew what they were doing. I would venture to say they could help out with any parts you may need or least help in directing you where/how, etc.

Hope this helps, but probably not. :)

That helps alot. More info than I had before. I saw the "Sun Mastr" on the tag. Thank you for the info.
