Here are some pictures of my first MM. Bought at auction for 900.00 and was a 575 mile round trip. Run good onto the trailer. Haven't unloaded it yet.

That cat did pretty good riding almost 600 miles back there. Looks like a good unit, and the cat too. :)

Looks a little light to me.. Thing you could have gotten some weights with it?? LMAO!!! Good looking tractor and if it runs thats always a plus :)

Yeah - I've wondered about the weighting on these old tractors, too!

Seems like a lot of old Minnies are just weighted to the gills!! Way more so than other brands...

I'm not sure if that is my imagination or not - just because I'm especially partial to them...

I've bought several with inside & outside massive rear weights, front weights, AND still have water in the rears, too...

I unloaded the tractor yesterday and drove it some. Seems to have lots of snort to it. I pushed the clutch in a little to fast and it pulled the front end off the ground. Am curious as to how it will pull. I have seen many MM diesel power out in pulls and don't see to many gas MM in the heavier tractors. Has just a couple more cubes than the Case LA.

Have yet hauled a tractor home that the cats don't crawl all over and check them out. This one just thought it was nice and shady. I have a few extra's if anyones interested. Thanks for all the replies.

Looks like a real nice purchase! I would be willing to take a bunch of cats off your hands. Give me a call and I will tell you the address to UPS them off to. Make sure you tape the box up real good and tight so they don't escape in transit...

Thanks that might be good to know. There is a tractor pull the 18th of July I might have to take it to.

I bought one just like it out of Kansas a couple off years ago. Been pulling it in div 1 and it seldom gets beat. Had those same weights front and back. The rear were stuborn to remove. Took off fenders, rear pto and weights and pull 7000# and up. does real good. Get you some MM 10A373 or UT518 wheel weights to put on it and go get 'em. Enjoy your great find!

Great to see a little Parrie gold saved for all to appreciate. Take care of those front weights, their hard to find. I have 3 of the GB's, all great tractors. Pull my 8500 lb tractor. Those red or green tractors don't like to see her unload at pulls, ha-ha. If you need parts, let me suggest Welter's or Charlie Biler, both have been great help to me with all my Molines. If I can be of any help, just drop me a line,
Good luck with her, and have fun.

Hey Caseman
Had a '57 GB propane back in the mid 60s. As tractors went in those days the GB was a hot rod.
When you go pulling just remember on a GB 4 bander the wheel base is very short and that draw bar reaching out under that marvelous platform you can dance on is very long and has a lot of leverage to pull the front way up in the air. Plowed some virgin prairie sod that we couldn't plow before we got the MM, the front wheels never touched the ground all the way across the field.
Anyhow, have fun with your GB, the best tractor ever built.
Thanks for listening, Harry

Thanks for the reply and the information. Only thing I'm in a need for right away is complete seat assembly. The guy took this one off as it was in the way as he stood while operating the tractor. Do you know if most seat assemblies interchangeable. Looks like a 4 bolt bracket to the transmission assembly???

Harry thanks for the reply! Can't wait till the pull to see what it will do. I have a 20" draw bar limit and the way this one is I can raise it without much trouble. It had miss matched rubber on rear so when tire man was here to fix another tire I had him put a matching 23 degree tire that I had in the shed, knew I was saving it for something good. Will let you all know the results of pull. I also have a Case D propane and a Case 910B propane that I plan on taking. Will be a propane day for ole Hank Hill.
