Massey Harris 44-6 / 333 / 444

Looking at purchasing the trio of 44-6 / 333 / 444. The 333 engine is stuck. I have heard that parts for these were difficult to find. Regarding the 44-6 it has tin rims, would it be correct to change to cast centers and rims from a 44 special for example? would they fit? What should I look for on the 444. Where is a good source of parts for these.

all depends if you have a row crop tractor or the standard model. sounds like the 44-6 is the row crop and u want to put standard tractor cast hubs on? i do not the 44 special rear rims dont fit the 44-6. the 44-6 uses the same rims as the john deere D and mccormick w6. so i dont know how you are going to be putting 30 inch rear rims on a row crop tractor. need more info on what u are trying to do.

The 44-6 and 44 Special ROW CROP both use nine bolt hubs, just make sure you use the longer bolts for the thicker cast Special wheels, HUBS are the same.
