Allied 350 FEL leaking bucket cylinder

Anyone have a owners/parts manual for Allied 350 FEL
I have a leaking bucket cylinder. It's on a mf 135 deluxe continental gas 1968. The tractor & FEL has been good to me for 30 yrs now it's time to fix it.
On arborist site they have a " beg for manuals thread" might be worthwhile here and an archive of manuals.
Thanks to yesterdays for having the forums and the parts
Thanks

It looks like Buhler bought Farm King/Allied years ago and the loader line has been discontinued at some point. You could find a Buhler Farm King dealer and ask if they can check on remaining stock.

My guess is even if you find a parts manual and get a kit number, you will not find a kit. I think your best path forward is to tear it down and take the sealing parts to a hydraulic shop, that has cylinder repair parts, to be matched up. You can try contacting (direct email or phone) a place like Baum Hydraulics and explaining what you need. They may have something that doesn't show in their website catalog.

Massey had their own line of loaders by that time, so I doubt MF will be any help unless you find a MF dealer that also handled the Farm King Allied line and has some old info.

Thanks just trying to fix a leak, what do you use for a replacement cylinder? Repair shop is going to be as much as a new cyclinder here in PNW

The problem will be that a replacement cylinder needs to be exactly the same (bore, stroke, rod diameter, open length, closed length, end connections) as the original, or both must be replaced. I have had rods and other parts made for cylinders, rather than replace one due to lack of suitable replacements.

Have you tried talking to anyone at Baum? Talking to someone in a case like this is usually better than just looking at what is on the web.

I was not saying to have a shop do the repair. You were looking for a kit, which indicates you planned to do the repair yourself. You need to tear the cylinder apart to put a kit in. If you can't find or don't have a kit you will need to pull it apart. Get the parts out and take them to a repair shop that will sell parts and have them matched up (making your own kit), then take them home and install them. Another option is the Baum catalog shows the types of seals and packings they have. You can find the types you need, measure them, and order what you need. You might be able to send them to them for them to match them up if you call them. I have heard some other places will do that as well, and someone may be along with a name.

10Bacres, if you are anywhere Spokane, WA, check out American West for your needs. They have a well stocked stock room, and fixed me up with the seals and wipers for a pair of NLA Prince cylinders. They may have other distributers around the PNW. steve
