Massey 444 hydraulics

Have a 444 that is equipped with a hydraulic valve for remote couplers but tractor does not have a 3 point hitch. Picked up the cylinder and valve assembly from a 44 at a local swap meet. This setup is for the 3 point or cultivator lift for a 44. Can i mount this on my 444? Will the bracket fit under the sheet metal covers that a 444 has? How do you plumb the hydraulics so you can have both remote hydraulics as well as the 3 point valve and cylinder? Anyone have a rock shaft and other parts needed to get my 444 complete?

It should fit but you should use the heavy
plate trans cover that the cylinder mounts
on. My 44 Special has a cast cover, and the
heavier cylinder. There is a diverter valve
screw on mine that can be adjusted for
remote hydraulic operation only, or fully
turned the other way for 3 ph operation
only. Mine is set halfway, so the cylinder
does move as the remote hydraulic is used,
but as a standard tread tractor, has no 3
point linkages. It should fit on your 444
but since its pto shaft is lower than that
of a 44, you may need to modify the
attachment points. Not too hard to do, it's
a simple linkage.

I've got 444 gas that has a bad engine.
It has 3-point and hydraulics. I'm
wanting to get rid of it but I'm in SE
Indiana
