50a oil pressure question and oil selection

I blew up the perkins in my 1972 50a last year and rebuilt the engine. turned, crank, resized rods full kit and oil pump. Everything plastic gauged good. We put 10/30 oil in it and now have about 20 hours on it. Stone cold it has about 80 PSI. Once full hot at slow idle it has 20 psi, if you rev it a little it jumps up to 35-40. High revs in the 50's. I see the book says 25-60 PSI at operating temp. Would you guys think 20 is to low at idle? Should I go to 10/40 or stick with 10/30. FYI the gage is autogage which is autometer's cheaper brand so it should be pretty accurate.

(quoted from post at 18:16:52 08/29/22) Why don't you use 15-40?
The manual calls for 10w, 20xw or 30w based on temp so that is why I went with 10w30 I didn't think they wanted thicker.
