I have a '60 MF 35 with the adjustable width front axle. For whatever reason, the left side is set wider than the right. The rear spin-outs are all the way in, and I don't plan on fighting with them.
In other words, I think the right is set up at 48" spacing and the left is set at 52" spacing.
Since I am going to adjust the front track width anyway, what are the pros and cons of going wider v. narrow?
The tractor is only going to be used for utility work - brush cutting, hay rides, hauling wood, etc. No crop work. Terrain is flatish to some rolling hills; using on it on 40 acres, 25 wooded with trails, ~6 acres of brush to cut, and and the rest is maintained with a riding mower (unless and until I buy a finish mower, but the rider does a great job so *shrug*).
