So my son's tractor is leaking around the PTO shaft. Looks like a pretty simple job my question is where do you guys like to buy parts for these 100 series tractors? I would like to find a good place to buy from so I can get on there and order stuff when we need it. We are going to replace the rear brakes this fall also and will need brake parts. We are trying to get the old girl ready for the hay fields next year. Also this tractor has an old loader on it that we want to remove. It has the pump on the crankshaft, is there any tricks or special things to remove it? I have never taken a loader off before so I am not sure how that all works. He won't be needing it on his tractor and I don't want it beating the front end to death. Plus mowing hay it will just be in the way

I have bought many parts from this website- yesterdaystractors.com. There is also many parts available still through massey dealers. I try to get most my parts through the dealer, and anything else through here

I have also used Steiner Tractor parts as well.

That rear PTO seal is not a bad job, do it when you change your hydraulic oil, If I remember right its 2 sets of 4 bolts, and then I used a big pair of channel locks to grab the whole PTO assembly on the flat parts and pull the whole thing out. There is a seal and O-ring, took about an hour to change the hydraulic oil and fix that seal/ring.

I buy most of my parts for my old Massey tractors through a local Massey Ferguson dealer. They are really good and helpful.

Thanks guys. Ya that rear seal doesnt look too bad. And we need to put rear brakes on it. It will be a great project and I think it will make him a good haying tractor. We also have a line on a MF50 and a super 90
