Parking brake hand lever for MF202

Anyone know of a kit for a hand brake lever for my MF202.
It's actually the industrial version of the MF35.

I'm getting of reaching down and setting that little ratchet flipper thing. Then I hop back on the tractor and forget it's on.

I saw this on Ebay, but I can't figure how it's supposed to work.. https://www.ebay.com/itm/353998661809

What about a stiff piece of copper wire like on a telephone pole sticking up to reduce the distance you have to bend down. I wonder if the spring was stronger if that would pop it off the lock.

I've found I can flip the lever on both the 202 and 135 with my toe, then a quick press of the peddle sets, or releases the brake.

Some days, some boots, it's a pain... Most of the time it's fine.

I flip the lever to set the brake, then flip it back down. Now when I want to go a quick push on the brake releases it.

Of course, I never said I didn't know how to use it, but thank you anyway.

I can't flip that lever up with the toe of my boot. Then with that little lever so far down and out of view, sometimes I just forget it is on. When parked on a hill, it would be nice to have a hand lever to release it while still being able to have my foot on the accelerator pedal.

A hand brake lever would be so much more convenient.

A little hint here...I have two tractors so I usually work with a 5 gallon gas can. So, the gas tanks never get full or even half full. Some of my property has what you'd call rolling hills on it. I have had that 202 run out of gas on me when it's parked nose down on about a ten degree hill. I ran the outlet valve open all the way to use the reserve position and it still won't start. Just being on that little all the gas runs to the front of the tank so it won't start. Had it happen yesterday and I had to run to town and fill my 5 gallon can. This time I poured the whole 5 gallons in it and it fired right up with the valve open only two turns.

Never had this problem with the 8N. Of course it's not really a problem, it's just me not keeping enough gas in it.

That hand brake won't work as it uses a cable.

You might try adjusting your brakes.

My International A has a similar setup where you have to flip a lever (by your foot) to release the parking brake. I forget sometimes and don't realize it right away because there is very little drag.

On my MF202, the parking brake grabs enough that when I forget to release it there is enough drag that I know right away that it is still on.

If your transmission looks the same as a trans from a 35/135/245 etc it should work, but you'll need more than the handle to make it work. I put one on my MF50. You'll need to acquire the rod for each side that goes down and connects to the pin that operates the brakes. I can try posting a pic if you need one.
