Hi all,
I'm on to the next issue with this tractor. I had the bush hog on it recently and noticed that as I was cutting, there appeared to be what looked like steam coming out of the oil fill cap. Sure enough there was. I also noticed a little bit of coolant around the front of the engine but I couldn't see a leak. I had put a new thermostat gauge that's not working because the needle doesn't move. The manual says that you can get condensate in the crankcase if the thermostat is not functioning. I pulled that out and checked it some hot water and it functions properly.
Could a blown head gasket be causing this? The tractor runs great with the exception of this.
Thanks for the help.
