MF 135 Fluid Loss / Fluid Gain.

Tractor: 1965 135 MF, gas engine.

Owner reports his 135 is leaking P/Steering fluid from reservoir into the differential housing and overfilling fluid level. No external leaks at all. How does
this happen??

No way. If the power steering pump shaft seal leaks, oil would go into engine oil, not rear end oil.

Can it leak though the steering valve?

Don't see how, unless the housing is cracked somewhere. I have seen the top support plate area broken on one tractor at the dealer I worked for years ago when Bubba decided to jack up the pump relief valve. The steering box didn't like the extra pressure..
