Looking for tips on rewiring MF203

Hi all,

Im going to start my next project on my 203.

Its poor to start in the cold and at some point has been fitted with an alternator and a non original ignition switch.

The heater plug is disconnected which wont be helping with cold starts and the battery will only recharge after the tractors been running for an hour or so.

The original regulator box is still on the tractor and appears to be wired in. I think that then the alternator conversion was done the original wiring was cannibalised to suit the job so Im going to start again with the right parts and hopefully do a proper job.

I think Ive got all the parts I need. I have bought a wiring harness, heater plug, ignition switch, safety switch and amp meter and I believe this is all Ill need for the engine wiring.

My plan is to make it road worthy and Ive also got headlights, butler lights, light switch, horn and button, 16.5 amp wire and fuse holders.

Does anyone have any tips or things I need to keep an eye out for before I start this?

Ive also been given some 12v LED lamps which will be mounted on my roll bar and wired with a separate switch. What would be the best way to wire this into the circuit?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Matt
