Massey Ferguson 65 rear main seal

I have a MF 65 gas G176. Im installing a new clutch and noticed the rear main seal is leaking. The retainer on the seal has three bolts on top from the rear and two bolts on the bottom from the inside. I have a I&T service manual the says remove retainer to service the seal. Looks to me that I will have to drop the oil pan and remove the rear main bearing to get to the two inside bolts. I downloaded a pdf of a factory MF factory service manual and it has very little information on the G176.
If I remove the rear main cap looks like Ill have to repack the rope seal. Am I going in the right direction?

The oil pan needs dropped to get the lower seal case two bolts out from the front of the rear main cap. The main cap DOES NOT need removed at all for seal replacement.
