Last season my lifter pump gasket failed around my last use and I didnt realize it until next season when the tank was dry (assuming the fuel all went into the oil pan)
I replaced the lifter pump & fuel filters, changed the oil, and followed the manual for bleeding the system; bleeder screw on fuel filter, followed by two screws on the injection pump.
[b:931ce5b1df]its turning over but not starting[/b:931ce5b1df]
How do I know when I have bled the system enough? I was squirting out of the injector bleeder screws hard, after it still wouldnt crank i cracked the injectors to the cylinders and let them bleed a bit, still nothing. I didnt see any bubbles.
Should I be seeing smoke? (im not)
If it was running fine when I parked it, any chance I damaged anything with thin oil due to it being contaminated ?
Thanks in advance,
complete noob
PS its an 89~ MF 240
