Can anyone tell me if their a way to check power steering pump to see if it is working
I don't have power steering, every thing is hooked up and pump is full?

I have an MF 65 with power steering. When I bought it the power steering only worked one way. There is a hydraulic valve as part of the steering mechanism ahead of the radiator. When you move the steering it moves the valve which then provides oil to the cylinder to move the wheels. If the valve controls are not perfectly positioned when you move the steering it does not activate the valve and then there is no power steering. In my case the valve was only activated in one direction.
