1969 Massey 135 deluxe diesel battery

I thought I had posted last night but it must not have
worked. Im trying to find the right battery for my 1969
Massey 135 deluxe diesel tractor. I have looked all over
online and no one shows the battery to use. I even
called a local Massey dealer and he could not tell me
either. He said just measure box. The box is 12 by 7
wide. The length can hang over Im sure but width is 7
Does anyone know which battery to get? Some say
group 24, some group 65 (too wide I believe) some say
group 31. What are you guys using in yours?

AGCO says group 24 or 30H. You can compare measurements from it to see which best fits your battery tray. Note the group numbers are industry standards and that you can get different CCAs in the same battery group (same for all battery brands). Here is a link to the AGCO info.
