MF 560 round baler reviews/tips

So, Ive never done hay before but I have 40 acres of hay land and our usual hay guy retired and his son doesnt want to do our land anymore. My father in law has gifted me a MF560 baler and an old coop swather.

I was curious what people know about the 560, it had new belts and a chain changed before it was parked, and other then needing a new tire and some basic TLC should be fine. I cant afford to buy equipment so the price is right.

Anything you guys know would be appreciated.
 
The 560 was made by Vermeer, I used the Vermeer version for several years. It will make a decent bale when the conditions are right and once the operator gets to know it. Dont even start the tractor if the hay isnt completely dry, it just wont roll it. A small stick can jam it up, as can a large batch of heavy hay. By the time you finish your first cutting on 40 acres, you will likely be budgeting for a slightly newer baler. It will test your patience.
