Massey Ferguson mystery tractor

Hi, I'm new here but could use a little help. I just bought this tractor from a guy who told me it was a 2135, however upon doing some research that doesn't seem right to me, but of course the serial plate is gone. The pedals, rear hubs/brakes and the nose all look different, and it looks like at one point it may have been red? It has a 3 cylinder diesel, a Perkins I believe. Would anyone be able to identify the model so I would know what to order manuals and parts for? Thanks in advance, Marshall

It all looks like a MF40 industrial except for the grill/headlights, it has the 200 series work bull grill/headlights. So I would have to guess it's a 40 industrial by looking at the rear axle (disk brakes with outboard planetaries), rear fenders, the dash/sheetmetal below the dash. Some of the parts on it could have come off MF agricultural tractors since they share alot of the same components, but they are just painted red.

My 205 Industrial has what looks like the same cast nose. It also has the rear planetary gear setup in the hubs and internat disc brakes, if that is a any help. the hood and dash looks different.

Thanks for the input guys. I had wondered if it could possibly be a 40 because of the squared fenders. The only other options I can find that have the 3 cylinder Perkins are the 203, 205, or 2200. Some of the pictures I find online of the 2200 have the same fenders and front end and hubs. I just wish I knew for sure because it's easier to work on something if you know what your working on. :)

Looks almost identical to my '67 MF 2200, with the exception of the rear hydraulic hoses for the 3PT, and the one foot pedal behind the brakes.

Looks like you have a 2200 tractor. I just checked www.agcopartsbooks.com and most of the pictures resemble a 2200 Industrial tractor. I know for sure it is not a 135 or 2135 or any of the later Industrial tractors as 20, 30, 40, or 50.
