Was doing a repair on my 3-point, and ended up on hold for parts for so long I only halfway remembered how to reassemble it.
Does anyone have pics of the underside of their assembled top cover that shows how the fingers contact the rollers?
I am hung up on how the "position" finger, and "draft" fingers interface with the rollers from the control quadrant.
And before anyone tries to refer me to the manual:
-I have a repro of the MF30B service manual, but the figures and images are so poor quality distorted I cannot glean any info from them.
-The written instructions in the manual aren't much better, all it tells me in Part 9 (page 10, step e) is to 'hold the fingers away from rollers and rotate the quadrant into place, but that leaves me 3 or 4 ways these can go in, and I know only there is only one right way. The part is heavy enough I do not want to assemble, install, and then have to remove and disassemble again for trial and error.
-I checked the parts manual, but the quadrant and rollers are separate figures from the linkage inside the cover.
