AD3.152 engine swap

Original A3.152 indirect injection engine on a MF35 project had the crankshaft thrust washers in the oil pan when I took it apart. Block and crank had severe scoring and machine shop guy tells me its trashed. So got a AD3.152 from an industrial MF40 in a salvage yard. I have been told it should fit properly. My question is regarding the flywheel and clutch. The assembly from the MF40 is different than what came off the 35. One of the clutch discs has more and finer splines instead of the 10 spline disc. Am I going to have a problem with this swap?

These pics are of a resent NEW Clutch installation on my 1963 MF 35 3 cylinder Perkins Diesel.


I'd be interested if this assembly would attach directly onto a 3 cylinder Perkins Diesel MODEL AD3.152..
As in a MF 40....

I'm betting it would. Just put one in an 30B industrial. Just need to make sure the spline count on the disks is
correct.
 
Since the flywheel and clutch were a bit different I am going to go with the flywheel and clutch that came off the A3.152, since I know it will work on my 35. The AD3.152 from the MF40 has a 12" drive disc and is a different setup.
 
If this adventure you are about to under take was mine...

I would make sure the FLYWHEEL FUEL PUMP INJECTION POINTS DEG's....STAMPED on the FORWARD FACE of the flywheels are the same....? or different...?

I would make sure that both FLYWHEELS are INDEXED...verify FLY WHEEL mounts to the crankshaft in only ONE LOCATION...

My MF Service manual indicates the fuel injection is different between the AD3.152 Engine and the A3.152 Engine..
I recently had the FUEL PUMP REBUILT as per required...There is a difference in the FUEL INJECTION points on the front face of the flywheels
