MF 30B fuel tank removal

I removed the rear bolts on the tank. The front bolts are spring loaded and attach to the thermostat housing. I read somewhere that the front mount has slots in it and you just slide the tank to the rear to disengage it from the bolts. I tried that, and it didn't work. Looking closely, the slots seem to be oriented so that you slide the tank to the front, not the rear. Only that doesn't work either; it hits the thermostat housing, the exhaust pipe, and the injector return line. How do I get this tank out?

How? The one on the left (driver's side, so to speak) I think I can get a bent wrench on the bolt head. The one on the right looks completely impossible.

(quoted from post at 12:23:29 03/08/21) I would post pictures, but the censorship bot won't let me.

You show 6 posts, check the size of the picture(s) and try again.

Not always, but in most cases new users have to have 5 or more posts on record before the site lets them post pictures, due to site spam filters. There is a size limit as well, I think it is a total of 7.5mb per post (be it one picture or the total of several). Some pictures (often taken with phones), are too large and have to be reduced before they will post.
