We have an MF65 gas powered tractor which we would like to install live hydraulics on. Has anyone used the spot where the power steering pump would go to mount a hydraulic pump? Also if so, where would we find a gear to match up with this engine? We have a nice compact pump that would fit in that spot if we could find a gear. Thanks. Jim S

Why not use a front mount crankshaft driven pump like loaders use?

I added a loader to my gas mf65 with self contained hydraulic tubing & added a hydraulic pump to the front crankshaft pulley. Not sure if that's what your asking. I had to buy adapter plate to connect to crankshaft & have machine shop make a shaft to fit from adapter to hydraulic pump.
